At Mooliram Stones, we provide high standards, quality and outstanding craftsmanship for our slabs, tiles, countertops, articles and furniture. We use state-of-the-art technology and machinery to ensure that our slabs are of the highest quality from start to finish.
Blocks to Slabs
Our process for cutting slabs from blocks is as follows:
- 1Our first step is to inspect the block and ensure it is of the highest quality and has no defects.
- 2The block is then cut into slabs using a diamond gangsaw or wire saw.
- 3The slabs are then polished to a high shine.
- 4The slabs are now finally inspected again to meet our strict quality standards.
Rough Stones to High-Quality Slabs
Our process for fabricating Agate and Semi Precious Gemstones slabs is as follows:
- 1Our artisans first inspect the rough stone blocks and then clean them thoroughly to remove all edge impurities of the geode.
- 2The rough stone is then cut into slices using a diamond saw.
- 3The slices of the stone are now laid to the pattern and sizes per the client’s project specifications.
- 4The slices are then bonded together with epoxy resin to create a slab.
- 5The slabs are then polished to a high shine.
- 6The slab is finally inspected again to meet our strict quality standards.
- 7Edge polishing is done if required by the customer.
